High school diploma, Valid Class A CDL, Clean driving record, Two years relevant experience, Physical ability to operate vehicles and work outdoors
About the role
Responsibilities
- Instruct students in operating CDL vehicles such as tractor trailers and buses
- Teach parking methods and pre-trip/in-cab inspections
- Prepare materials for trucking simulator lessons and evaluate student performance
- Track student vehicle time and maintain required paperwork
- Implement safety policies and conduct routine vehicle inspections
- Oversee students operating vehicles on public roadways
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
- Clean driving record
- Two years of relevant experience
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Physical ability to climb in and out of trucks and buses
- Ability to lift at least 25 pounds
Preferred Qualifications
- Fluency in multiple languages
- Teaching or law enforcement background
