Commercial Driver

Responsibilities

• Oversee cargo handling and secure loads, including equipment preparation and compliance with regulations
• Operate various trucks over outdoor terrain and through all weather conditions
• Attend pre-job safety meetings and ensure emergency equipment is in good working order
• Maintain effective communication with colleagues and supervisors
• Comply with legislation regarding safe operation, carriage of goods, and driver’s hours
• Maintain daily logs, inspection logs, and other necessary paperwork

Requirements

• Valid Class 1, 2, 3, or 4 Driver’s license
• Minimum 4-5 years winch experience
• Air Brake endorsement (Q)
• Defensive driving course completion
• Lowbed experience
• Valid H2S certification
• Standard First Aid certification
