Commercial Door Installer

Responsibilities

• Install, adjust and operate multiple types of commercial doors including AD Systems doors
• Read and interpret construction drawings, schematics, and technical instructions
• Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques for door hanging and frame carpentry
• Perform heavy lifting of doors, hardware components, and related materials
• Conduct caulking, trim carpentry, locksmithing tasks, and cabinet installation
• Collaborate with project managers, electricians, and other trades on construction sites
• Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to safety protocols

Requirements

• Experience with commercial door installations
• Expert level blueprint and instruction reading
• Experience with door hardware
• Proficiency in carpentry including trim and frame carpentry
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and maintain physical stamina
• Experience with metal stud framing and remodeling processes
• Mechanical knowledge of lock systems and fixture installation
