Commercial Dock & Door Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and repair commercial access systems including garage doors, operators, gate operators, rolling steel doors, high-speed doors, and dock levelers
• Weld and fabricate components for various projects
• Identify opportunities to provide customers with additional products and services
• Maintain and submit job-related paperwork in a timely manner
• Operate in a safety-conscious manner
• Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency after-hours service (1-2 weekends a month)
• Collect payment for completed jobs

Requirements

• 3-5+ years of experience servicing and installing commercial garage doors
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to lift 60lbs

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-3 years in a construction-related industry
• 1-3 years of welding and/or electrical experience
