Peak Power is a North American cleantech company providing end-to-end battery energy storage solutions for large commercial, industrial, and manufacturing facilities. We help large energy users reduce electricity costs, unlock new revenue streams, and achieve sustainability goals through strategic investor partnerships and zero-capex energy storage models.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end commercial process for a portfolio of transactions, including energy services, partnerships, EPC, and asset-sale workstreams.
- Drive transaction plans by managing stakeholders, timelines, dependencies, and risks.
- Collaborate across Strategic Finance, Legal, Operations, and Development teams to align on commercial terms and economics.
- Participate in negotiations and meetings to advance deals and close loops with counterparties.
- Provide clear status reporting on active deals, surfacing bottlenecks and proposing process improvements.
- Help standardize templates, workflows, and best practices to improve organizational scalability.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience running commercial or transaction processes in complex environments (distributed energy, infrastructure, renewables, or storage).
- Broad commercial experience with a specialty in contracting, project finance, or project development.
- Strong contracting fluency and ability to translate business needs into documentation.
- Strong project management capability to manage multiple parallel workstreams.
- Ability to understand economic tradeoffs and how terms affect project financeability.
- Comfort using GenAI tools to accelerate drafting and summarization.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in B2B contexts involving complex, multi-stakeholder transactions.
- High EQ and strong stakeholder management skills under pressure.
