Commercial Director

Responsibilities

• Launch new Carbon Capture Storage (CCS) businesses by delivering definitive agreements in the low carbon space, including hydrogen and low carbon fuels
• Structure and deliver definitive deals that advance corporate objectives in leading the energy transition
• Drive value by developing and implementing commercial strategies that push organizational boundaries
• Lead cross-functional commercial and technical business teams to ensure internal alignment and coordination
• Adapt existing and create new commercial structures to meet the needs of internal and external stakeholders
• Deliver an industry-leading customer experience and spark innovation in CCS business development

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or financial discipline
• Minimum 10 years of experience in financial, commercial, and/or business development roles within the Energy sector
• Demonstrated ability to conclude definitive agreements at a corporate level
• Expert knowledge of long-term upstream, midstream, product, and/or transportation agreements in oil & gas or related industries
• Deep familiarity with project investment evaluation
• Strong analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in business or finance
• Experience obtaining Board-level approval for complex inorganic transactions
• Experience developing and finalizing definitive long-term agreements
• Strong communication, coordination, and collaboration skills
• Demonstrated interest in energy transition business areas
