Commercial Director

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end exhibition and sponsorship sales pipeline for AixEnergy Asia 2026, including prospecting, negotiation, and contract closure.
• Carry an individual revenue target and provide accurate weekly forecasts using Salesforce.
• Convert priority accounts across hyperscalers, data centre operators, energy, utilities, and AI infrastructure sectors.
• Manage and grow the AixEnergy agent network by setting targets and ensuring lead quality.
• Drive sponsorship sales for title partners, strategic partners, and on-site activations.
• Deliver strong on-site rebooking results for the 2027 edition to ensure long-term pipeline growth.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, Content, and Finance teams to align commercial strategy with event delivery.

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of senior B2B exhibition and sponsorship sales experience.
• Proven track record of personally delivering revenue targets in excess of US$1m.
• Demonstrable success selling at a senior level into AI infrastructure, data centres, energy, or industrial sectors.
• Proficiency in Salesforce or equivalent CRM systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently in a launch-phase environment and travel internationally as required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience launching first-edition events.
• Familiarity with ASEAN markets, specifically Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia.
• Experience managing sales agents and channel partners.
