Commercial Credit Senior Director

Responsibilities

• Oversee enterprise-wide commercial credit risk strategy, customer credit portfolio management, and credit operations for MPC and MPLX.
• Modernize credit monitoring systems and drive the development of advanced analytical insights.
• Partner with organizational leaders to develop and execute short and long-term risk mitigation strategies.
• Evaluate and recommend risk mitigation financial products, including coverage for complex international offerings.
• Maintain key relationships with customers and manage collection disputes in partnership with legal teams.
• Ensure compliance with internal audits, SOX controls, and bad debt related accounting entries.
• Lead and develop a high-performing Commercial Credit team through coaching, goal setting, and formal development programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting.
• 12+ years of professional experience in finance, economics, commercial, business development, or accounting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree (MBA) or an advanced degree.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and analytical analysis.
• Experience creating and presenting strategic materials to senior leadership.
