Responsibilities
- Structure, negotiate, and advise on commercial contracts including SaaS agreements, technology licenses, and vendor agreements
- Build out the commercial function by developing templates, playbooks, and workflows
- Advise on IP, privacy, and the evolving regulatory frameworks related to AI
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, and Agent Development teams
- Exercise strategic judgment regarding risk in a hyperscaling business environment
Requirements
- 2-6 years of legal experience
- Combination of large law firm and in-house tech company experience
- Strong background in negotiating complex commercial contracts (SaaS, AI, or enterprise software)
- Excellent communication skills for partnering with legal and non-legal stakeholders
- Ability to navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced startup environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with privacy/regulatory frameworks and data processing agreements
- Deep understanding of AI products, LLMs, and related legal issues
- Experience at a top-tier, internationally recognized law firm
- Experience working at a high-growth startup
