Commercial Counsel, Platform & Marketplace

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end legal strategy and execution for partnership ecosystems and contracting programs
• Serve as a strategic legal advisor to the Partnerships & Alliances business team
• Lead complex, multi-party negotiations involving technical integrations and revenue-sharing
• Architect scalable partnership frameworks, templates, and programs
• Provide strategic counsel on partnership structures to balance risk and growth
• Coordinate cross-functionally with Compute, Finance, and GTM teams

Requirements

• JD and active membership in a U.S. state bar
• Proven track record leading complex negotiations with major technology companies
• Experience as a legal partner for business development or partnerships organizations
• Deep understanding of partnership economics and revenue attribution
• Strong risk assessment skills and executive presence
• Ability to mentor and guide other attorneys
• Intellectual curiosity regarding AI technology

Preferred Qualifications

• 8+ years of legal experience with 4+ years focused on technology partnerships and strategic alliances
• Experience as commercial counsel at high-growth technology companies
• Background managing relationships with hyperscalers and systems integrators
• Familiarity with marketplace agreements and co-sell programs
• Experience with emerging technology partnerships like AI/ML or cloud infrastructure
