Meter’s mission is to make the internet a utility: a world where any business can turn on reliable, secure, enterprise-grade internet at any physical location as easily as it turns on power or water. Meter designs and manufactures its own networking hardware, manages ISPs, and operates networks to provide seamless connectivity.
Responsibilities
- Draft, structure, negotiate, and close material customer agreements and SLAs
- Manage channel agreements including MSP, VAR, distributor, and referral deals
- Negotiate pre-installation agreements, property licenses, and access rights
- Build a legal supply chain function by negotiating supplier, manufacturing, and logistics agreements
- Independently manage the contracting process from scoping to execution
- Stand up and run the Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system
- Develop templates, playbooks, and repeatable processes to scale the commercial legal function
- Act as a partner to Sales, Finance, Security, Engineering, and Product teams
Requirements
- J.D. from a top law school
- Experience at a top law firm
- In-house regulatory experience
- Member in good standing of at least one state bar
- Strong negotiation and contract drafting skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
