Commercial Counsel

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate core commercial agreements including distribution, retail, wholesale, logistics, and supply chain contracts
• Support global go-to-market strategies by advising on commercial models, pricing, and risk allocation
• Partner with Marketing and Brand teams to review influencer agreements, agency contracts, and campaign content
• Lead legal operations by building templates, clause libraries, playbooks, and intake-to-signature workflows
• Implement governance controls, approval matrices, and risk thresholds to improve contracting speed and consistency
• Provide day-to-day employment law advice across the UAE, US, and UK, covering hiring, performance, and terminations
• Manage external counsel, budgets, and legal service providers to ensure pragmatic, business-ready outputs
• Build and monitor legal metrics and dashboards to track volume, cycle times, and risk themes

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer with post-qualification experience in commercial law within a fast-paced business environment
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills across diverse commercial agreements (e-commerce, 3PL, services, and marketing)
• Experience supporting global operations and cross-border contracting across multiple jurisdictions
• Hands-on experience in legal operations, including template management and process optimization
• Knowledge of employment and HR legal topics, including cross-border compliance and policy drafting
• Familiarity with privacy and data protection regulations in a commercial context
• Pragmatic, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to balance risk with business growth
