About the role

Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and negotiate enterprise SaaS agreements including MSAs, Order Forms, ELAs, NDAs, and DPAs
  • Serve as the primary legal point of contact for Sales and Solutions Engineering teams
  • Negotiate inbound vendor, procurement, and professional services agreements
  • Manage and improve contract templates, playbooks, and fallback positions
  • Provide legal guidance on GDPR, UK GDPR, and applicable data protection regulations
  • Support responses to customer security and privacy due diligence questionnaires
  • Advise on EMEA subsidiary governance, corporate maintenance, and local regulatory matters
  • Advise on employment law matters in coordination with local external counsel

Requirements

  • Qualified lawyer with an active legal qualification in your country of residence
  • Approximately 5 years of post-qualification experience
  • Experience in-house at a technology, SaaS, or software company
  • Expertise in commercial contract negotiation (SaaS, MSAs, partner/channel structures)
  • Strong working knowledge of GDPR and experience negotiating DPAs
  • Fluency in English at a professional legal standard
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in a second European language (French, German, Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, or Dutch)
  • Experience with partner ecosystem legal structures (reseller, referral, ISV, GSI, or OEM)
  • Familiarity with enterprise procurement processes and RFP/RFQ workflows
  • Exposure to AI-related legal considerations and the EU AI Act
  • Experience with legal technology platforms like Ironclad, Juro, or Salesforce
