Commercial Cooking Equipment Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial cooking and refrigeration equipment including ovens, fryers, steamers, and walk-in freezers
• Perform preventative maintenance (PM) inspections and respond to emergency service calls
• Communicate effectively with customers, managers, dispatchers, and sales teams
• Participate in an on-call rotation schedule
• Maintain service vehicle, order parts, and complete all required paperwork
• Identify new customer opportunities within existing accounts
• Treat all customers and employees with respect, courtesy, and professionalism

Requirements

• Previous experience in cooking, refrigeration, or HVAC equipment service (military experience in related fields is also accepted)
• Strong electrical, electronic, and mechanical skills
• Valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets company safety standards
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to pass a satisfactory background check and drug screen
• Strong customer communication skills and organizational abilities
