Commercial Cleaner

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize medical facilities, offices, classrooms, washrooms, conference rooms, hallways and fitness areas
• Respond to emergency calls using a communication radio or pager
• Report occurrences and deficiencies to management
• Dust furniture and perform floor-level dusting
• Spot clean walls, partitions, light switches, doors, and window sills
• Clean and polish chrome and other polished metal surfaces
• Clean and disinfect washroom fixtures using mild chemicals
• Damp mop small area hard surface floors
• Attend all required health & safety training and use required PPE

Requirements

• Fingerprint security clearance (required for military base access)
• Clear criminal record check
• Two pieces of government-issued ID, including one photo ID
• Commercial cleaning experience is an asset but not required
