Commercial Banking Portfolio Associate

Responsibilities

• Support the Commercial Banking Portfolio Management team by reviewing credit information for companies and industries
• Analyze real estate related documents, including appraisals and lease agreements
• Provide day-to-day work leadership, mentorship, and quality checks for junior team members
• Perform complex credit investigations and assess borrower creditworthiness using qualitative and quantitative factors
• Prepare internal reports, performance dashboards, and process documentation for onshore partners
• Drive operational excellence by identifying opportunities to improve customer and employee experiences
• Utilize AI tools to summarize information, draft content, and analyze data while maintaining human oversight

Requirements

• B.Com or an equivalent degree, preferably an MBA
• 7–10 years of relevant work experience
• Proven experience in assessing credit worthiness of borrowers
• Advanced Excel and reporting skills
• Strong analytical thinking with high attention to detail and research capabilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in leveraging AI platforms (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) for routine tasks and data analysis
• Ability to work independently and lead a team in a fast-paced environment
