Commercial Banker

Responsibilities

• Develop and expand relationships with business owners to help them meet financial goals through commercial lending and business services.
• Achieve individual and team financial, production, and relationship results relative to assigned metrics and goals.
• Maintain an active prospect list, customer outreach plan, and quality referral sources.
• Act as the primary contact for borrowing needs, typically averaging over $2MM.
• Engage with customers, prospects, and referral sources through proactive outreach and community involvement.
• Comply with all regulations, bank policies, and procedures to manage credit, operational, and regulatory risk.
• Partner with bank colleagues to provide a full range of deposit and related business services.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in commercial/business lending, credit, or business development OR High School Diploma/GED and 10 years of experience in the same fields.
• Proven skills in financial analysis and credit underwriting.
• Experience in sales planning, forecasting, and applying a structured sales process.
• Knowledge of business lending, deposit solutions, and cash management.
• Ability to network and build centers of influence.
• Must possess a valid driver's license for frequent travel to client sites and other offices.
