Commercial Analytics Analyst

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic commercial intelligence advisor to Sales leadership, translating complex challenges into scalable analytical solutions.
• Deliver executive-ready, story-driven insights to communicate revenue drivers and recommended actions.
• Provide data-driven recommendations regarding territory strategy, account prioritization, pipeline health, and forecasting.
• Design, develop, and evolve decision-oriented dashboards and analytics solutions embedded into sales rhythms.
• Lead analysis of large, multi-source datasets while ensuring high standards of data quality and integrity.
• Write and optimize performance SQL queries and partner with IT to influence data models and architecture.
• Drive the adoption of AI-enabled analytics use cases to enhance forecasting and decision support.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Analytics, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of progressive experience in sales analytics, business intelligence, or commercial performance roles.
• Advanced SQL expertise (Microsoft SQL Server or equivalent).
• Advanced proficiency with Tableau, Power BI, or comparable BI platforms.
• Strong command of statistical analysis, analytical reasoning, and quantitative methods.
• Proven ability to translate complex business questions into actionable executive insights.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment.

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or advanced degree.
• Experience in medical devices, healthcare, or regulated high-tech environments.
• Familiarity with modern cloud analytics stacks, including Snowflake and DBT.
• Exposure to Python or comparable analytical programming tools.
