Commercial Analyst

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain financial models for pricing tenders, quotes, and strategic decision-making
• Conduct scenario and sensitivity analyses to assess financial implications and maximize project returns
• Review and contribute to the commercial sections of tender submissions to ensure competitive and accurate pricing
• Support the development of CAPEX documentation and high-value proposals for board approval
• Collaborate with General Management, Business Development, and Operational teams on pricing strategies
• Provide M&A support, including business plans and due diligence processes
• Maintain accurate data within Salesforce and prepare briefing documentation for executive reviews

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, or a related field
• Proven experience in financial modelling and commercial analysis
• Strong understanding of tendering processes and pricing strategies
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
• Background in operational industries such as mining, transport, or logistics
• Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively in a dynamic environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with various stakeholders
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
