Commercial Account Executive Team Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Account Executives, managing up to 5 direct reports
• Manage a significant book of business with $1.5M - $2.0M+ in revenue
• Act as a strategic advisor for P&C clients, maintaining intimate knowledge of their business operations and needs
• Oversee the entire renewal process, including policy reviews, loss analysis, and program design
• Craft marketing strategies and negotiate with underwriters to secure optimal coverage and pricing
• Support producers in winning new business and assist with the setup of new accounts
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with insurance carriers

Requirements

• 5+ years of insurance or related industry experience
• Proven experience in leadership and developing people
• Ability to think strategically based on client priorities and marketplace cycles
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with MS Office (specifically PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel)
• Ability to travel up to 40% based on client book of business
• Holds at least one general insurance designation

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within Applied Epic
• Pursuing a formal specialty designation (such as ARM or CPCU)
