Commercial Account Executive

Responsibilities

• Own the full sales process from initial discovery and demos to proposals, proof of concept, and contract execution
• Generate new revenue and bring on new customers to grow Sigma's presence in the business intelligence market
• Maintain accurate customer, pipeline, and forecast data within Salesforce
• Use consultative sales techniques to interact with diverse businesses within the data and analytics space
• Engage with partners in the data ecosystem to build pipeline and support customer initiatives
• Work collaboratively with a high-functioning, energetic team of motivated sales representatives

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience closing deals
• Proven track record of successful pipeline generation and quota attainment
• Must be based in the San Francisco Bay Area (or be willing to relocate)
• Strong desire for personal growth and career advancement in a high-growth startup environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the data space (e.g., Data Warehouses, Pipelines, Analytics)
• Background in high-tech software sales
• Experience with partnership and co-selling models
