Commerce Writer

Responsibilities

• Write 6-10 daily articles and evergreen stories per week, including round-ups, gift guides, and product reviews.
• Research new products, trends, and competitor content to ensure high-quality recommendations.
• Pitch new content based on audience insights, seasonal search trends, and revenue-generation measures.
• Cover major shopping events such as Prime Day, Black Friday, and Cyber Monday.
• Collaborate with partnerships and growth teams to optimize content for maximum revenue.
• Test and review new product launches to keep content up to date.
• Follow in-house style and brand safety guidelines.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional writing experience with samples illustrating commerce coverage.
• Proven track record of executing revenue-driving articles (deals-centric and evergreen).
• Daily experience working within a CMS, with a preference for WordPress.
• Strong knowledge of AP style and SEO implementation.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in journalism or a related field.
• Experience producing both short and long-form product reviews across various categories.
• Familiarity with analytics platforms such as Adobe Analytics or Chartbeat.
