Command Center Officer

Responsibilities

• Oversee continuous operation and integrity of life safety and security systems across a 50-acre mixed-use development
• Provide dispatch directions to 40+ security personnel
• Administer access control credentials and troubleshoot controllers
• Monitor CCTV/VMS platforms and support investigations
• Interpret fire alarm conditions and coordinate with Fire Command
• Manage inventory for radios, keys, and equipment
• Leverage AI tools for incident summarization and operational trends
• Coordinate emergency response with police, fire, EMS, and property management
• Prepare comprehensive incident reports and after-action reviews

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in security operations, dispatch centers, or life safety technology environments
• Experience in mixed-use, corporate, campus, aviation, stadium, or municipal environments
• Proficiency with enterprise access control and VMS platforms
• Working knowledge of fire alarm panel operations
• Strong situational awareness and ability to remain calm under pressure

Preferred Qualifications

• ASIS certifications (APP, PSP, CPP)
• Fire Life Safety Director certifications
• CPR/First Aid/AED Instructor certification
• System-specific access control or VMS certifications
