Combustion Turbine Technician (IC&E) II, III

Responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor all instruments, electrical, and control systems at a combined cycle power plant
• Perform troubleshooting and calibration within Instrumentation, Controls, and Electrical (IC&E) disciplines
• Adhere to strict safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures
• Respond to call-outs and outages as required in an industrial power plant environment

Requirements

• Valid driver's license
• Ability to pass the EEI MASS Test
• Journeyman certification in IC&E disciplines
• Ability to pass a respiratory physical for confined space requirements
• Willingness to develop skills in plant operations and mechanical disciplines

Preferred Qualifications

• Military or technical training in IC&E maintenance
• Experience in a combined cycle generating station
• Proficiency with Siemens T3000 Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and logic development
• Experience with PLC systems troubleshooting
• Knowledge of equipment monitoring for combustion turbines, steam turbines, generators, and HRSGs
• Experience with Continuous Emissions Monitoring Systems (CEMS) and Title V compliance
• Proficiency with CMMS software (Maximo preferred)
• Knowledge of NERC standards and cybersecurity
