Combustion & Mining Applications Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead growth of industrial gas sales across combustion and mining markets, including mineral processing, metallurgy, and thermal processing.
• Develop and execute growth strategies that align customer needs with Linde’s products and services.
• Build strategic partnerships to expand market access and promote the benefits of industrial gases.
• Research and analyze target markets, industry trends, and competitor activity to adjust strategies.
• Develop value propositions focused on combustion optimization, process efficiency, and emissions control.
• Drive lead generation, track key projects, and lead technology deployments across segments.
• Create marketing plans, sales tools, and collateral, including case studies and trade show participation.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for combustion and mining applications in the U.S.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a technical field.
• 10+ years of experience in technology, marketing, or technical sales.
• 5+ years of experience in combustion systems, mining, minerals processing, or related industrial gas applications.
• Proven success selling engineered solutions to combustion-intensive or mining customers.
• Ability to travel more than 50%.

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA degree.
• Experience working with OEMs, EPC firms, or engineering companies.
• Knowledge of the bulk industrial gas business.
