Color & Curl Specialist

Responsibilities

• Act as a subject matter expert in Color and Curl/Texture to provide professional advice and product recommendations to customers.
• Drive sales and brand awareness by building lasting relationships with professional beauty salons, barbers, spas, and licensed cosmetologists.
• Conduct product education both in-store and virtually to increase customer retention and loyalty.
• Maintain high standards of merchandising, including product placement, signage, and display techniques to follow brand guidelines.
• Monitor emerging industry trends and market changes to adapt sales techniques and maintain competitive knowledge.
• Perform daily retail duties, including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and resolving customer concerns.

Requirements

• One year of retail or sales-focused experience.
• Ability to pass the Color Certification Test within 60 days of hire.
• Reliable transportation to service the designated store and market.
• Ability to travel to shows or sales meetings a minimum of 3 times per year.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to interpret sales reporting.
• Proficiency with POS applications, computers, mobile devices, and social media platforms.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Licensed cosmetologist (US or Canada).
• Working knowledge of inventory control systems and visual merchandising.
