Color & Curl Concierge

Responsibilities

• Provide expert color and curl/texture consulting services to professional beauty salons, barbers, spas, and licensed cosmetologists
• Drive sales and brand awareness by building lasting customer relationships and increasing retention
• Conduct product education both in-store and virtually to introduce new concepts and beauty products
• Maintain high standards for color and curl merchandising, including signage and display techniques
• Determine customer needs and offer professional advice to ensure they have the correct products for their clients
• Manage store opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and bank deposits
• Stay informed on emerging industry trends to remain agile in a competitive market

Requirements

• One year of retail or sales-focused experience
• Ability to pass the Color Certification Test within 60 days of hire
• Reliable transportation to service designated stores and markets
• Ability to travel to shows or sales meetings a minimum of 3 times per year
• Strong business acumen with the ability to interpret sales reporting
• Proficiency with POS applications, computers, mobile devices, and social media platforms
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Licensed cosmetologist (US or Canada)
• Working knowledge of inventory control systems and visual merchandising
