About the role

Responsibilities

Attend weekly technical education classes focused on advanced styling, cutting, and coloring
Identify and schedule 4–6 models per week for technical training sessions
Document work by using inspirational reference materials and capturing before-and-after images
Support salon operations by seating clients, shampooing, and providing beverage service
Assist with blow-drying and color blow-dry services to support the cut and color departments
Maintain salon standards by performing housekeeping tasks such as sweeping and folding towels
Ensure a high-touch "Ideal Client Experience" through professional and friendly customer service
Communicate with stock room supervisors to maintain appropriate retail and back-bar inventory levels

Requirements

Must possess a current cosmetology license issued by the State of New York
Strong technical styling and/or coloring skills
Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced salon environment
Physical stamina to stand for up to 8 hours and perform moderate lifting/unpacking
Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
