About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and product application expertise for automotive refinish products to body shops, dealerships, and production facilities
  • Assist customers with proper product selection, application, and the setup of mixing systems
  • Perform color verification and field color formulations
  • Troubleshoot product quality issues and implement effective solutions
  • Support sales representatives, branch operations, and distributors with technical and marketing assistance
  • Develop and implement training aids and conduct internal training at all levels
  • Maintain accurate records of demonstrations and enter all service calls into the CRM
  • Manage technical support budgets and maintain required documentation and reports
  • Operate company vehicles in accordance with all laws while traveling to various client sites

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of experience with vehicle refinish processes and products
  • Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to tint paint and distinguish chromatic colors
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and spreadsheets
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 100 lbs occasionally
  • Ability to tolerate non-toxic paint odors and wear a respirator as required
  • Willingness to travel approximately 75% of the time

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field
  • Prior sales experience
  • Experience in the automotive aftermarket industry
