About the role
Responsibilities
- Inspect sanitary sewer collection systems and perform routine or emergency maintenance
- Operate sewer equipment such as rodding machines, pumps, CCTV units, flushing equipment, and related tools
- Support groundskeeping, traffic control, confined space entry, and sewer construction work
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, software, and computer components
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on equipment
- Enter data and record findings in computerized management systems
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license with safe driving record
- CDL required
- Knowledge of collection system operations
- PACP and MACP certification preferred/required by role context
- OSHA 10 and traffic flagger certification
- Ability to read and interpret as-built drawings
- Strong reading, math, writing, verbal, and computer skills
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds
