Collections Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise 5-6 AR collectors handling $15M+ in receivables across 7 markets
• Conduct weekly one-on-one meetings to review portfolio progress and monitor KPIs like DSO and collection efficiency
• Provide coaching, training, and development for collectors, including new hire onboarding
• Serve as the escalation point for complex collection issues, customer disputes, and high-balance accounts
• Ensure all collection activity is documented in Sage Intacct
• Oversee portal invoice submission compliance across various customer portals (Coupa, Ariba, Oracle, etc.)
• Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to collection workflows and team efficiency

Requirements

• 5+ years of accounts receivable or collections experience in a B2B commercial environment
• 2+ years of supervisory experience managing AR collectors or a collections team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables and VLOOKUP
• Strong communication skills for customer-facing escalation calls
• Demonstrated ability to reduce DSO and manage team performance through KPIs

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Sage Intacct
• Experience with customer billing portals such as Coupa or Ariba
• Background in commercial cleaning, facilities management, or franchise operations
• Experience in a private equity-backed or high-growth environment
• Knowledge of bankruptcy procedures related to accounts receivable
