Collections Specialist

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely collection of outstanding receivables to meet company targets
• Contact customers regarding overdue accounts and resolve issues preventing payment
• Conduct regular reviews and reconciliations of customer accounts to maintain accuracy
• Execute outbound collection activities and support account administration through payment lookups and record maintenance
• Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies and provide supporting documentation
• Work closely with billing, sales, and customer service to resolve account discrepancies

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or Collections
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience
• Proficiency with Google Workspace (Gmail, Sheets, Docs, and Drive)
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in the waste management or construction industry
