Collections Manager

Responsibilities

• Supervise, recruit, and evaluate assigned staff including performance appraisals
• Minimize sanitary system overflows and blockages through optimized maintenance
• Oversee day-to-day operation of the wastewater collection system
• Direct system maintenance and repair activities, including cleaning and televising
• Manage vendor and contractor interfaces
• Assist with annual budget preparation and monthly forecasts
• Maintain and ensure data integrity within GIS and CityWorks systems
• Implement innovative solutions such as real-time sewer level monitoring and smart technology
• Develop standard operating procedures for safety and preventive maintenance

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of five years of management experience at a large utility facility
• Experience with CityWorks, GIS, and Work Order Systems
• Experience with CCTV camera systems and IT Pipes software
• Experience with Vactor 2100 Combination Jet/Vac equipment
• Mandatory knowledge of gravity sewer and force main piping systems
• Valid CDL Driver’s License
• NAASCO PACP and MACP certification
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
