Collections Executive

Responsibilities

• Own collection targets for assigned cases across various delinquency buckets (1–90+ days)
• Execute daily dialing plans, field visits, and route planning to drive timely recoveries
• Negotiate with customers for overdue amounts and maintain strong professional relationships
• Monitor repayment of accounts, analyze causes of delinquency, and report concerns promptly
• Perform skip tracing and coordinate with dealers and OEM touchpoints
• Assist in asset location, voluntary surrender, and repossession processes in accordance with SOPs
• Coordinate with legal teams for cheque bounce cases and pre-litigation actions
• Ensure strict adherence to RBI fair practice codes, compliance policies, and documentation hygiene
• Maintain accurate collection data, customer logs, and visit reports in the official system

Requirements

• Graduate degree in a relevant field
• Valid Debt Recovery Agent Certificate
• 1–3 years of collections experience within an NBFC or retail bank
• Minimum of 1 year of specific experience in Commercial Vehicles (CV) or Construction Equipment (CE) collections
• Proficiency in MS Office and general PC skills
• Fluency in English and Hindi; proficiency in regional languages is an advantage
• Willingness to travel frequently for field-based collection activities
