Collections Analyst II

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and complete daily collection activities for a key account customer portfolio to mitigate risk and meet goals
• Analyze customer balances, payment history, and ability to pay to determine collectability or escalate issues
• Partner with accounts receivable, deductions, and cash applications teams to ensure balances are researched and properly applied
• Complete ongoing customer account reconciliations and navigate disputes using customer portals
• Document all collection efforts with clear and concise notes
• Communicate regularly with the sales organization regarding customer balances, account risks, and disputes

Requirements

• 2+ years of commercial collections experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for internal and external stakeholder management
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• 5+ years of commercial collections experience managing mid to large customer portfolios
• Recent hands-on experience with SAP
• Experience working within the beverage industry
