About the role
Responsibilities
- Oversee and control the assigned accounts receivable portfolio through direct involvement with sales representatives, project managers, and customers
- Develop reporting for tracking foodservice equipment division retainage balances
- Use system resources like Smart Sheets to track project deposits
- Arrange collections according to terms and document exceptions
- Send customer demand letters as required
- Collaborate with the Administrative Team to ensure contracts, change orders, and non-system billings are organized and accessible
- Provide training for new procedures to other collection representatives
- Process cash applications through remote deposit processes
- Prepare monthly reports for management regarding the status of accounts receivable
Requirements
- High school diploma
- 5 years of construction credit and collection experience
- Experience working in a Microsoft environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of construction credit and collections experience
- Proven success in collections and implementing policies and procedures
- Experience working in SAP
- Proficiency working with Lien laws and retention bonds as collection tools
