Collation Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and supervise a team of manufacturing supervisors and production workers
• Ensure department production schedules and targets are met while monitoring processes
• Implement and enforce quality control standards and procedures
• Enforce safety policies and conduct regular safety inspections
• Develop and execute lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives
• Manage allocation of materials, machinery, and workforce to optimize efficiency
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive production performance
• Coordinate with maintenance teams to manage spare parts and prevent equipment downtime
• Plan and schedule workforce requirements based on production forecasts

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field
• Lean Manufacturing Certification (e.g., Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt)
• Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) by APICS
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• OSHA Safety Certification
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
• Extensive experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Significant experience in a managerial or supervisory role
• Knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies and CAD/CAM software
