Collaborative Health Clinical Faculty

Responsibilities

• Mentor BSN nursing students in an inpatient clinical setting in the St. Louis area
• Bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world patient care application
• Plan clinical experiences and provide direct supervision and evaluation of nursing students
• Provide documented feedback and remediation to students based on course objectives
• Develop and post written clinical assignments consistent with student skill competency
• Maintain current knowledge of agency and clinical policies and procedures
• Grade clinical paperwork, assignments, and other written work in a timely manner

Requirements

• Master's or doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited institution
• Unencumbered professional nursing license in the state of Missouri
• At least two years of professional nursing experience within the last five years
• Ability to work onsite in a clinical setting, typically in 12-hour rotations (7a-7p)

Preferred Qualifications

• Illinois RN license (preferred for course assignment prioritization)
• Previous experience in teaching or precepting nursing students
