About the role
Responsibilities
- Set up, install, operate, and troubleshoot audio-visual equipment and collaboration technologies including Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Cisco Rooms.
- Provide technical support and stand-by assistance for live events, townhall meetings, webinars, and video conferences.
- Perform sound checks and dry runs for meetings to ensure seamless execution.
- Manage room scheduling software and maintain an accurate inventory of conference room technology and supplies.
- Act as a second-level technical resource to resolve customer problems and provide leadership to local IS resources.
- Maintain the operational availability of technology-related equipment, including laptops, desktops, and network infrastructure.
- Log AV fault tickets with vendors and liaise through to resolution.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of technical or AV support experience.
- Experience providing technical support in a Legal or Professional Services environment.
- Proficiency with collaboration tools such as Zoom (including Zoom Rooms) and/or Microsoft Teams.
- Experience with Cisco Video Conferencing equipment.
- Hands-on experience with audio-visual technologies such as Crestron, Q-SYS, or Extron.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to remain calm under deadline pressure.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to work overtime as necessary to support firm requirements.
