About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop execution plans with Regional Sales Managers to address vertical and horizontal growth initiatives for assigned accounts.
- Create and implement strategies to drive sales, meet targets, and secure strategic account wins or competitive win-backs.
- Promote HP-Poly collaboration solution offerings to increase brand equity and market share.
- Develop financial models, pricing, and gross margins for customer proposals to ensure business goals are met.
- Build and manage comprehensive customer relationship strategies through regular contact.
- Maintain accurate weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecasting and manage account activity within CRM tools.
- Act as a programmatic-level interface for Public-Sector accounts to leverage vertical expertise.
Requirements
- 7-10 years of sales experience specifically within State and Local Government (SLED) and Education sectors.
- Proven track record of successful sales campaigns involving transactions between $200K and $1M.
- Background in Solutions or Consultative Sales within Networking, IP, Audio/Video, or Unified Communications environments.
- Deep understanding of Public Sector contracts and purchasing vehicles.
- Proficiency in using CRM tools and sales methodologies (e.g., Dynamics, Salesforce, ZoomInfo, or LinkedIn Sales Navigator).
- Strong ability to translate technical solutions into customer requirements and manage complex problem-solving.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Technology Sales Professional (CTSP) certification.
