COBOL Developer

Responsibilities

• Participate in the development and maintenance of COBOL programs within the Altamira environment.
• Analyze functional and technical specifications provided by analysts or technical leaders.
• Perform unit and integration testing to ensure code quality before delivery.
• Collaborate on incident resolution and production application support.
• Document developments according to internal project standards.
• Actively participate in team meetings following established agile or traditional methodologies.

Requirements

• Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, DB2, and Mainframe (z/OS) environments.
• Understanding of data structures, batch processes, and basic financial operations.
• Ability to read and interpret technical specifications.
• Experience or knowledge in banking systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Core Altamira or similar banking core systems.
