Coatings Inspector

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and regulations
• Provide quality assurance for all paint applications
• Verify that all surfaces are in suitable conditions for painting
• Utilize electronic tools to check paint thickness, color, and viscosity
• Evaluate surfaces for corrosion
• Report all surface defects during the prep, primary, intermediate, and final finish stages
• Monitor all painting-related works to ensure final products meet company procedures and client requirements

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 5-10 years of experience in commercial or industrial painting

Preferred Qualifications

• NACE Certification (Level 1, 2, or 3)
