Coating Technician

Responsibilities

• Set up, monitor, and maintain coating machines and systems
• Prepare coating systems, load/unload chambers, and change magnetic systems
• Pre-treat customer products using standardized methods to prepare for coating
• Input process parameters into operator screens and make critical processing decisions
• Perform daily changeover maintenance on pre/post treatment equipment
• Minimize equipment downtime through preventative maintenance procedures
• Inspect customer products upon receipt and inspect finished products for quality
• Maintain and update equipment records and assist with quality assurance
• Note: Training will take place on 1st shift for 9-12 months

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work 2nd shift (1:30pm - 10:00pm)
• Ability to lift, stack, push, pull, or move items weighing up to 44 pounds
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Ability to work safely with a variety of chemicals and gases
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience as a machine operator
