Coal Technician

Responsibilities

• Execute precise sampling, preparation, analysis, and reporting procedures
• Maintain complete traceability and integrity of all samples
• Support the maintenance and optimal performance of lab and prep equipment
• Champion a safety-first culture by identifying hazards and promoting best practices
• Coordinate sample logistics and optimize testing schedules
• Maintain lab areas, company vehicles, and shared site facilities

Requirements

• Experience in coal sampling, preparation and testing, or mineral laboratory environment preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Availability to work a 7/7 rotating day and night roster
• Current Standard 11 certification
• Ability to meet pre-employment medical and fitness-for-work requirements
• Ability to work independently in remote locations

Preferred Qualifications

• Current Australian manual driver's licence
