Coach (Pyramid Model)

Responsibilities

• Provide coaching to teachers and staff using Practice-Based Coaching (PBC) strategies
• Support classroom teams in implementing Pyramid Model practices
• Model effective instructional and social-emotional strategies and provide actionable feedback
• Plan and facilitate professional development sessions for staff
• Design and deliver family workshops to support children's social-emotional development
• Partner with leadership to develop and sustain program-wide implementation plans
• Monitor implementation fidelity using TPOT and TPITOS tools
• Collect and analyze coaching and child outcome data to inform program decisions
• Maintain accurate documentation of coaching sessions and staff progress

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, child development, psychology, social work, or related field
• 3–5 years of experience working with young children in early childhood settings
• Completion of CCL Record Keeping Component
• 16 hours of health and safety training (including 1 hour of nutrition training)
• Ability to pass health screening, TB test, and background fingerprint clearance
• Ability to lift up to 30lbs

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior coaching or mentoring experience
• Strong knowledge of social-emotional learning and evidence-based behavior support
• Experience in adult learning strategies
• Bilingual skills
