About the role
Responsibilities
- Analyze simulation, test, and vehicle data to identify trends, anomalies, and improvement opportunities
- Clean, transform, and structure raw datasets to make them usable for analysis and modeling
- Develop and maintain data pipelines, scripts, and notebooks to automate repetitive analysis tasks
- Create dashboards and visualizations using tools like Power BI or Streamlit to communicate insights
- Build predictive models using vehicle and test data to identify potential performance issues
- Use AI-assisted tools to accelerate data exploration, generate code, and improve engineering productivity
- Support the development of digital twin and simulation-driven analytics capabilities
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field
- Minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.75
- Hands-on programming experience for data analysis, specifically with Python and SQL
- Basic understanding of statistics, data analysis, and machine learning concepts
- Experience working with datasets, including cleaning, structuring, and analyzing data
- Familiarity with AI/ML workflows and exposure to Generative AI or AI-assisted tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, matplotlib, or plotly
- Exposure to machine learning libraries like scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch
- Familiarity with modern AI concepts including prompt engineering or embeddings
- Experience building automation scripts, dashboards, or lightweight applications
- Interest in automotive, transportation, or heavy-duty vehicle systems
