About the role
Responsibilities
- Act as second-in-command to the Store Manager, providing floor leadership to drive sales and customer satisfaction.
- Recruit, hire, and develop high-quality associates and management to support succession planning.
- Provide ongoing coaching and feedback regarding product knowledge, selling skills, and visual merchandising.
- Implement visual merchandising standards and maintain cleanliness of the sales floor and stockroom.
- Meet or exceed profitability expectations related to sales, payroll, shrink, and conversion.
- Execute strategies to maximize store sales and control operational expenses.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, loss prevention measures, and payroll expectations.
Requirements
- Minimum of two years of managerial experience with a proven track record of driving sales and profit.
- Experience in training and developing teams of individuals.
- Proficiency in personal computer use and detailed report analysis.
- Ability to lift over 30 pounds.
- Ability to stand for 8+ hours during scheduled shifts.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school education or equivalent.
