About the role
Responsibilities
- Complete unit turnover processes including patching, sanding, priming, and painting
- Diagnose, perform, and bill for approved residential repairs
- Conduct preventive maintenance such as smoke detector checks and HVAC filter changes
- Perform quarterly property walkthroughs to assess common areas and exteriors
- Communicate clearly with residents regarding maintenance updates and expectations
- Maintain tool inventory and upload receipts for supply reimbursements
- Operate within OSHA standards and company safety policies
Requirements
- 2–4 years of relevant maintenance or residential building experience
- Strong knowledge of residential plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repair
- Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable with climbing stairs, ladders, and working in confined spaces
- Familiarity with AppFolio or similar property management software
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in multi-family or co-living environments
- EPA certification
