CNO Software Developer

Responsibilities

• Analyze systems to understand behavior and failure modes
• Develop and defeat advanced security techniques
• Work in small teams to build and disassemble complex systems
• Write code in Python or C++ to audit and secure software
• Lead small teams of developers or researchers as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 4 years of experience, or 8 years of experience
• Proficiency in Assembly, C, C++, Java, Perl, or Python
• Active and transferable U.S. government TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance
• U.S. citizenship

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of OS Internals (e.g., Windows)
• Experience with Vulnerability Research
• Proficiency in reading/writing assembly (x86, x64, ARM, PPC, MIPS, etc.)
• Experience developing embedded systems
• Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, RF communications)
• Understanding of exploit mitigations (DEP, ASLR)
• Experience with reverse engineering tools (IDA Pro, Ghidra, Binary Ninja)
• Experience with debuggers (gdb, WinDbg, OllyDbg)
• Experience with modern C++ (RAII, C++11/14)
