CNC Saw Operator

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC saw machines to cut steel, aluminum, and plastic materials with precision
• Monitor machine performance and make timely adjustments to prevent downtime
• Ensure all pieces are cut to exact dimensions to reduce waste and rework
• Securely clamp materials and replace worn blades to maintain safety and equipment reliability
• Document heat treat information and other production data to support traceability and quality assurance

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Experience or training with CNC saw operation preferred
• Proficiency in basic math and unit conversions (English to Metric)
• Ability to read, write, and follow instructions in English
• Basic computer skills for data entry and software usage
• Ability to operate overhead gantry cranes is a plus
